Phill Vettel shared with morning newscasters on WGN News today that one of his top picks for a special Valentines Day meal is Sunda New Asian:
The video is above, and Phil’s comments are below.
“I’d go with the place to be seen, to bring that killer outfit to Sunda, in River North on 110 W. Illinois Street. They’re al a carte on Friday and Saturday. They’re a very fancy, very glitzy restaurant. On Sunday and Monday they’re doing a special menu for $120 a couple and that includes a glass of bubbly and for a place that glitzy that’s really inexpensive.”

Prepare for a sheik Pan-Asian experience, as Sunda provides an eclectic menu of Asian-inspired dishes in a stylish and lively environment, designed by Tony Chi. The sushi bar provides a wide assortment of freshly prepared sushi, sashimi and nigiri options. The menu also offers contemporary interpretations of tradition dishes from Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Plilippines and the Southeast Asian Island region. In addition, there is a well-rounded list of champagnes, wines, and sake.
